GZA is a legendary founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan. Known as The Genius, he is the groups oldest member and is the cousin of fellow founders RZA Dirty Bastard. He is widely considered as the groups spiritual head due to his high-level lyricism and seniority. He is celebrated for his complex metaphors and dense wordplay. Studies have ranked him among the rappers with the largest vocabularies in the genre. His 1995 solo album, Liquid Swords, is regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop records of all time, famous for its dark, cinematic production and chess-themed imagery.
