The Kingston Trio
Fans of legendary folk icons The Kingston Trio can rediscover the songs that helped define American folk music, including "Tom Dooley," "Where Have All the Flowers Gone," "Scotch and Soda," "M.T.A." and many more. Today's Kingston Trio carries the music forward with deep, authentic ties to the originals. Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangton, and Paul Robinson each bring a personal connection to the Trio's history. Mike is the adopted son of founding member Nick Reynolds, who was also his musical mentor. Tim, a close friend since boyhood, is one of the few musicians outside the Trio to have recorded with Nick Reynolds. Paul toured internationally as lead guitarist with Dan Hicks, who was discovered by original Kingston Trio founder Nick Reynolds, and has also played and recorded with Sons of the Kingston Trio, among many others. An evening with The Kingston Trio is a return to the songs, the stories and the unmistakable sound that defined a generation.
