Morning Melodies: Royal NZ Artillery Band
Child Policy: Children under 3 years of age will be admitted free of charge if they are seated on a caregiver's knee. Lap ticket must be collected from the Box Office prior to entry. Children over 3 years must purchase a ticket for entry. These crowd pleasers and returning favourites are back to rouse you with songs and tunes from across a range of musical genres. Based in Panmure and formed in 1864, The Royal NZ Artillery Band is the oldest military band in New Zealand and was part of the New Zealand Defence Force until the Reserve Bands were disestablished in 2012. However, it has battled on as a volunteer band, re-affiliated to 16th Field Regiment RNZ Artillery, and is happily in good shape, performing a very busy and varied schedule each year throughout Greater Auckland and beyond.
