The Lagoons

The Lagoons are a Southern Californiaraised musical project formed by multi-instrumentalist brothers Ryan and Joey Selan. Known for their dreamy, atmospheric indie sound that blends indie pop, chillwave, surf rock, jazz, and electronic influences, the duo writes, records, and produces all of their music from their home studio in Los Angeles. Their breakout came with the single California, which amassed millions of streams and helped establish a devoted global fanbase. Since then, The Lagoons have released multiple albums and EPs, including Midnight Afternoon and Daybreak, along with live recordings, while becoming known for vibrant live shows where they often switch instruments and create fresh performances each night. Their music has been featured in media such as Netflixs Easy, national ad campaigns, and on playlists curated by Spotify editors, earning praise from outlets like NPR, The New York Times, Paste Magazine, and more.
