Objects is the creative confluence of John Mallinen, Raleigh Booze, and Ben Rosenbach, a three-piece ambient post-metal band from Philadelphia, PA. Born out of personal hardship and loss, the band has become a vehicle for expression, healing, and the pursuit of artistic authenticity. Drawing on influences spanning black and death metal, avant-garde classical composition, punk, folk, jazz, and ambient music, Objects crafts a sound that moves from warm, searching laments to desynchronized ambience to nightmarish sonic chaos, and somehow leaves you wanting more. Known for a powerful and dynamic live show - interweaving ambient breaks and long build-ups with heavy riffs and solos - the band brings the same emotional intensity to the stage as they do to record.
