Vicki Chew
Singer/songwriter Vicki Chew has been performing her original music in Northeast Ohio for over 30 years. A favorite and mainstay at the legendary Barking Spider, Vicki and her band are now playing regularly at the Treelawn Social Club. Vicki is one of those rare musicians whose beautifully crafted music effortly blends genres and draws influences from Jazz, Folk, R+B, Rock, and Latin music. Vickis songwriting is about the best youll ever encounter - with the voice of a poet she has the uncanny ability to whisk listeners away to another time and place. The Vicki Chew Band is composed of Paul Lawson on Bass guitar and vocals, and Gary Naherny on Drums and vocals. Fellow musician Caroline King describes the Vicki Chew Band as one organism with the same beating heart. Vicki has released four CDs Your Perfect Life (with Under The Tree), The Bells of St. Rose; People in the Sun; and We Are The Lucky Ones .
