The Queers, The Robert Conn Band, The Canceled Sitcoms

The Queers are a punk rock band whove been delivering fast, loud, snotty music since the early 1980s, playing the role of beer-sodden teenagers even as theyve grown into middle age. Their tunes are recognizable for their no-frills pogo punk and purposely puerile lyrics that flaunt bad taste at every turn, sometimes bordering on sexism and homophobia. The Queers first locked down their trademark style with 1993s Love Songs for the Retarded, they hit peak velocity on 1996s Dont Back Down and 2002s Pleasant Screams, and showed off their influences on 2021s all-covers set Reverberation.
