PineCone: The HillBenders present...BeatleGrass
The Beatles + banjo = Beatlegrass, a new show from musical director Jimmy Rea and the Ozarks-based bluegrass/acoustic quintet The HillBenders. It's a high-energy trip through the Beatles' catalog reimagined with banjo, mandolin, drums, upright bass, acoustic guitar, and stacked harmonies. From "Please Please Me" to "Let It Be," expect inventive arrangements and the musical fire that put the band on the map with Tommy: A Bluegrass Opry, a bluegrass reinterpretation of The Who's rock opera.
