His beaming energy, boundless warmth, and the way he made people feel seen and welcomed left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know and love him. In the years leading up to his passing, Nick achieved many of the goals he long dreamed about. He married the love of his life, built a beautiful life surrounded by friends, family, craft beer, dogs, and music, played countless live shows in his latest bands Sundowner and Workers Comp, and was really excited about what was next for him.To honour Nicks remarkable legacy, we want to bring his community of family, friends, fellow musicians, and everyone in his orbit together to celebrate him in the big and loud way he would love mostthrough music!We invite you to join us at Lees Palace on Sunday, May 24th for Nick Fest, a special event paying tribute to the life of Nick Gergesha. Nick Fest will feature a lineup of incredible artists - including Bad Waitress, Burner, Computer, Dermabrasion, Glum, Jules Bangsworth, Leona Hell, Moody Jooly, Oil Giant, Quotas, Sovran, and more! - whose talent will fill the room with the same passion and energy that Nick brought into the world. We know that his big and bright spirit will be felt in every riff, fuzz, and cheer! Partial ticket and merchandise proceeds will be donated to the Toronto Humane Society and Palestine relief efforts.
